THOMAS KNEUBÜHLER TO APPEAR IN VENDU-SOLD AUCTION TO SUPPORT ESSE MAGAZINE

We are pleased to announce PMG artist THOMAS KNEUBÜHLER will appear in the sixth annual Vendu-Sold benefit auction, which will take place on November 20, 2014 in the Michal and Renata Hornstein Pavilion at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

Created in 2009, Vendu-Sold is a contemporary Canadian art auction developed to support Les éditions esse, a non-profit arts organization and publisher of esse magazine.

This year, forty-four works of art by forty exceptional artists will be up for bid, including Electric #4 by THOMAS KNEUBÜHLER. As part of the Electric Mountains series, Electric #4 captures the eerie nighttime illuminations of Quebect ski resorts in a photograph that showcases a strange and abandoned recreational universe. Kneubühler's work has been presented in exhibtions across Europe and North America and can be found in several collections, including those of the Kunstsammlung Basel-Landschaft, Foreign Affiars and International Trade Canada, The Conseil des arts de Montréal, the Canton Solothurn, and RBC Royal Bank.
